I then mounted the 4.1 CD on my other PC, and set it up in /etc/exports for NFS. I do an NFS install, and it seems to work fine, except that everytime I've tried, at 45% through the bin install, the transfer rate slows down and there's an error message stating that the connection betwixt the NFS server died. Any Ideas on this? - joel >From: Mike Meyer >To: "Joel Rosenberg" >CC: questions@freebsd.org >Subject: Re: Installing w/ 2 Ethernet Cards >Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2000 21:25:11 -0500 (CDT) > >Joel Rosenberg writes: > > I'm installing 4.1 on a box that has 2 ethernet cards, 1 built-in, 1 a >new > > pci linksys (taken from a different FreeBSD box, so I know it works). >When > > installing and I configure my network interface for either an ftp >install or > > a post-installation configuration, the menu only prompts me to set up my > > on-board card.
