I haven't heard or seen 5.4 being referred to as a legacy release. 5.4-RELEASE was officially announced just a few days ago, and is an ordinary official release of FreeBSD. (4.11 is referred to as a legacy release, and that essentially refers to the fact that it was released *after* the 5.x branch had been officially labeled as the new -STABLE branch. 4.11 is therefore not primarily intended or recommended new installations, but mostly for those who have existing installations and wish to stay with what they know works.) --=20 Erik Trulsson ertr1013@student.uu.se
