Hector: I have different email addresses in my signature and header information for a reason. I (like many others on this list) am subscribed to a number of lists, and have to sort through several hundred messages a day. Please, when asking questions such as this, direct them to the appropriate place. In this case, questions@freebsd.org It is *very* inappropriate to send such questions directly to a member of the list unless it is a continuation of a thread that should be made private. To answer your question, all you need to do, is fill in the blanks on the network setup. It's that easy. If things go awry when you're done, check your network configuration. If you use a PPP dial-up account, check the man pages for ppp and pppd. Also, be sure to check /etc/resolv.conf to be sure you have the proper domain setup. I successfully made the floopy image onto a 1.44 diskette. I boot my PC with the floopy. go thru the installation process, but I'm stuck at the Network Configuration screen. I have all of my ISP's information and after I input it the installation says that it couldn't connect to the internet or the ftp site. This is really frustrating because is seems that the only way to find help is to e-mail or post a dogon message to a news group. Please help a newbie.
