[Please, cc this list and me for answers] Can someone tell me if this modem is or will be able to run under FreeBSD? According USR's web site, it is not listed as a Winmodem but it is written that this modem will not run under other operating system than Microsoft (is it true or do they protect their support team?) The data sheet shows that this card support AT commands. With a correct entry in the pccard.conf file, this card is recognized has having a 16550 UART. Whether this card is not able to run or not with FreeBSD, I will submit in a few days a PR because when one is trying to access this card (like ls > /dev/cuaa1 ), it freezes the operating system. In fact, it never exit from a while(TRUE) loop in isa/sio.c Thanks. Phil. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
