Errr... I hate to say this, but isn't this just a teensy-weensy bit
subjective? *One* problem on *one* system means that all systems react the
same way? I have successfully operated the same ethernet and RAID
cards on interrupt 12 in three seperate systems without any trouble.
If you read the PS/2 documentation, it detaches the IRQ line from the
built in bus-mouse hardware by disabling a buffer. This is how it works
in *PS/2 SYSTEMS ONLY*. How it works in any other system is undefined
unless you contact the manufacturer and confirm it... ;^)
