Oh, it's only _one_ guy? :-) I tend to trust the team at the FHG institute more, which develops MPEG applications for a long time, and who has accumulated a consideral amount of know-how over many years. They have representatives in the MPEG ISO committee. (They also hold several essential patents on MPEG audio, giving them basically a monopoly on that technology, but that doesn't necessarily indicates anything about the quality of their software. ;-) Regards Oliver PS: Personally I don't like the FHG people for their attitude, but their MPEG layer3 encoder rocks. -- Oliver Fromme, Leibnizstr. 18/61, 38678 Clausthal, Germany (Info: finger userinfo:olli@dorifer.heim3.tu-clausthal.de) "In jedem Stück Kohle wartet ein Diamant auf seine Geburt" (Terry Pratchett) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
