Hey, Im having trouble with configuring my kernel... let me explain: I have 2 HDD's.. 1 is a 4.3 gig and the other is a 13.0 gig.. the 13 gig is partioned into 3 partitons.. a 5 a 6 a 2.. FBSD is on the 2.. specifically at wd2s1a...i currently get in using a boot disk and typing: 1:wd(1,a)/boot/loader.. and the boot loader is configured for ROOT_DISK_UNIT=2....what i want to do is configure it so i can boot straight off the kernel...ive recompiled severeal times.. changing the root on wd0 i have changed it numorus tomes.. to wd1.. wd2..wd3..wd4 none of which seem to work.. i also tried wd2s1a.... which didnt work.. please tell me what i should put in for there..
