Dear Satoshi! If I check out a port from CVS and try to work with it, it always produces an error: Error: your port uses an old layout. Please update it to match this bsd.port.mk. *** Error code 1 Looking at bsd.port.mk line 599 and following I found that bsd.port.mk checks if some directories are present. Of course they are present if you check out a port from CVS... So I think we should rather check for files present in the old layout (e. g. ${MASTERDIR}/pkg/PLIST) and emit an error if they are present.
