https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D254541 Bug ID: 254541 Summary: ports-mgmt/synth: Fails to build lang/rust, not enough disk space Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: dev@submerge.ch CC: ericbsd@FreeBSD.org, rust@FreeBSD.org CC: ericbsd@FreeBSD.org, rust@FreeBSD.org Attachment #223563 text/plain mime type: Created attachment 223563 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D223563&action= =3Dedit Remove the max size limit for work area tmpfs mounts. Recent updates of lang/rust fail to build when using synth, at least with t= he default option to "Use tmpfs for work area". The error is always a variatio= n of "not enough disk space". Culprit is the tmpfs mount for the work area (.../construction), which is s= et up with a hard-coded max size of ~16GB. A recent lang/rust build creates ar= ound 17.5GB of data in the work area, exceeding the tmpfs limit. Patch attached removes this limit completely. That should be future-proof. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
