Hi, I was wondering if there is a tool available that can: 1) parse the dmesg file 2) compare it to the GENERIC kernel file 3) and create a file called (for example) CUSTOM or MYKERNEL where unused devices are disabled (or commented out). There was/is (it's pretty old now) a tool available for openbsd called dmassage (see: http://www.sentia.org/projects/dmassage/manpage.shtml) Is there a similar tool available for freebsd? thanks a lot didier
