That isn't a syntax error. Read http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/rc-scripts.html to learn why. I'm not suggesting that you revert your change as it is basically harmless. However for future reference when you see something that you don't understand it's generally a good idea to ask first before changing it. hth, Doug On 11/21/2010 14:55, Nicola Vitale wrote: > nivit 2010-11-21 22:55:13 UTC > > FreeBSD ports repository > > Modified files: > net/ifdepd Makefile distinfo > net/ifdepd/files ifdepd.in > Log: > - Fix a syntax error in the ifdepd startup script > - Bump PORTREVISION > - Remove the MD5 checksum from distinfo > > PR: ports/152397 http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=152397 > Submitted by: Alexander Hausner<alex@hugo.bmg.gv.at> (maintainer) > > Revision Changes Path > 1.7 +1 -1 ports/net/ifdepd/Makefile > 1.4 +0 -1 ports/net/ifdepd/distinfo > 1.4 +2 -2 ports/net/ifdepd/files/ifdepd.in > > http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/net/ifdepd/Makefile.diff?&r1=1.6&r2=1.7&f=h > http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/net/ifdepd/distinfo.diff?&r1=1.3&r2=1.4&f=h > http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/net/ifdepd/files/ifdepd.in.diff?&r1=1.3&r2=1.4&f=h > -- Nothin' ever doesn't change, but nothin' changes much. -- OK Go Breadth of IT experience, and depth of knowledge in the DNS.
