Yes it works for me in 1400x1050, great !
As for another vgl applications - there is problem, after app exit
screen locked in some video mode and then can't be switched to any mode
by vidcontrol or X (X do not show anything).

(I have tried games/digger-vgl to test, after start F10 to exit)
