We don't want to introduce a lot of possible new : breakage into the tree right before the freeze. I'll probably be busy : enough fixing other GNOME breakages. So, we'll resume this discussion : after the freeze is lifted. Thanks for everyone's input. However, keep in mind that had I not said anything, and you made the repo copies, then *most* users would get the expected behavior which is mozilla-1.1 and working plugins. Once again, this would only affect mozilla-vendor and mozilla-devel, and only if attempting to install flashplugin and/or plugger. So, our choices are ship as is, which is broken in regards to Mozilla 1.1 (which mozilla advertises as their current browser). Or perform the repo copy which would then leave mozilla-vendor and mozilla-devel out in the cold until a solution is found. Food for thought or brain candy, your choice... 8) --Jerry Open-Source software isn't a matter of life or death... ...It's much more important than that!
