OK, I guess I need to slow down a bit.  I don't have a
/usr/lib/libc_r.so.5 so maybe I shouldn't delete /usr/lib/libc_r.so.4?
As you can probably tell, I have no clue as to how libraries and the OS
works in general as I am not a programmer.
