Here is a great blog on seven Linux/BSD firewalls. http://linuxcult.blogspot.com/2007/11/seven-different-linuxbsd-firewalls.html The winner is PFSense which is (ta-da!), based on FreeBSD. I have been using PFSense for nearly a year now and totally agree with this blog's conclusions.
