And also make sure that your sendmail.cf file is reading the cw_file.
:-) There should be a line in there that reads something like:
Fw-o /etc/mail/sendmail.cw
Or if you're building it from scratch, make sure you have the
following macro in your .mc file:
FEATURE(`use_cw_file')
