I'm trying to run a dual boot system for -CURRENT & 3.4. -CURRENT is installed. The second slice on the second drive is unused, so I figured I'd install there. While doing the install, partioning goes fine - I changed the typ eof the second slice to FreeBSD. However, when I attempt to label the partitions, I can't write partitions on that slice. Is it possible to have a disk with two slices used by different versions of BSD? How about having one with partitions in two different slices?
