Hello, this is my first post to a FreeBSD list. I am a seven year veteran of several Unices(OSF1, Solaris, SCO) , and most recently Linux (I tried them all, and while they were all fun, none of them had evrything I need). I installed FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE last week, and have fallen head over heels in love, I ordered tee-shirts, stickers, faceplates and everything. I found "make world" to be a nearly relgious experiance. I have one question; I did not find mention of this in the errata.txt or on the FAQ. I am in the middle of upgrading my small home network (4 hosts, DSL on the way) to FreeBSD, and I need good time sync between them... but when I try to install the NTP-1 port from CD, I get a message telling me the port is broken :( What does this mean, and how can I go about getting NTP to compile? Do I need to download a new ports skeleton? If so, where do I go for that? I apologize profusely if this is addressed somewhere else that I should have checked, if it is, I'd be happy to know where that someplace is.
