E.g: Xorg is not always a technical question. The normal support mailing lists are more geared towards i386 and amd64. Snapshot and release information can be a part of the mailing list. Also, it would allow developers and hackers to search the mailing lists for any common errors and problems. Examples on the mailing list would be: "Installation doesn't work, bm0 times out." "Xorg starts but is unresponsive." "Usb device is not recognized." The advantages would be: These would be active users of the equipment. Tutorials, web logs, and reference pages would be up to date. Developers, hackers, and port maintainers can view what is broken or what works on the system.
