Thank you very much. At the head of the kernel module source you noted that this has been = inspired by the GSoC-2018 work. That one I got working as well. Only when using the original GSoC-2018 = code built-in to the kernel, I see hundreds of warnings "gpioc2: = Unhandled interrupt on pin 3.=E2=80=9C, while your kernel module works = without warnings. Please may I ask you for some more details what is the actual difference = between the GSoC-2018 work and your work - besides the obvious one that = your builds a module.
