Could you please 1. check that it is still reproducible on HEAD (there were some important rangelock fixes) 2. bisect to see exact revision that broke it if (1) is true. That said, I do not quite see how rangelock changes cause error 45 EOPNOTSU= PP returned somewhere in io path.
