You need to either compile a new kernel and set "options IPFORWARDING=1" or use a line in /etc/netstart like i do: /etc/netstart:sysctl -w net.inet.ip.forwarding=1 Both of these changes the kernel to forward packets from your slip link to your ethernet. I also need to run routed on my box and work with proxy-arp entries. Something like "arp -s ip-addr ethernet-addr pub". But that depends on the network numbers.
