Reed" List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2007 16:12:25 -0000 I see that login.conf(5) has conflicting statements about passwordtime: "They are not implemented in the base system." and then "Used by passwd(1) to set next password expiry date." And password(1) indicates it can use "passwordtime capability in the user's login class". I was going to file a bug report about this but saw both: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=bin/93310 and http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=bin/93473 (both have patches) This email is a reminder. Will someone either fix the documentation or fix pam_unix.c? And fix the login.conf(5) man page? Jeremy C. Reed p.s. I noticed this while editing a book that mentioned passwordtime as not being implemented but man pages indicate it is.
