Neeraj,

I might be completely off, but I think this book goes to 4.4BSD as it was=20
published by UCB. This is very different from FreeBSD 4.4. 4.4BSD is what=20
=46reeBSD 1.0 (and everything following that) was based on :)

This would still be a good read to get some historical insights into the=20
architecture of BSD though.
