Bad old days?  What ISP do you have that doesn't use POP3 email?  I have yet
to find an ISP for any home user that uses anything but POP3.  I only see
IMAP in large companies like the one I work for.  It would seem to me that
pop3 is still very much alive and the choice of all ISPs I know....although
I am not sure why.
