That is a TGA graphics adapter, you might have problems with FreeBSD
as long is that is in.  Obviously the system must reach the booting stage
first ;)

This is WIP to see if the TGA driver problem can be fixed.

RRD45 is quite an old 4x drive.  Do you use CDR or CDRW media?
Dark colored CDRs gave me problems on RRD45.  

Mind you, difficult to diagnose this remotely.

This is case insensitive throughout.

Probably the RRD45 is fscked beyond repair.  I had at least 2 go
to the CD graveyard this way.

You could try a boot from floppy, the floppy images are on the CD, and
then mount the CD via NFS for further installation.
