Format the second drive as one big vinum partition. You can then manipulate the space into different filesystems using vinum without affecting the other partitions. This is also nice as vinum allows you to turn non-contiguous space into a single filesystem. So, if you allocate 5G for a jail and then realize you need 10G, you can allocate more space into the vinum partition and use growfs to enlarge the filesystem. -- Bill Moran Potential Technologies http://www.potentialtech.com
