That's a fact. Fair enough, I'm not disputing it. It's just a different fact from the one quoted above where you said: "Unfortunately I'm stuck in a mostly-Windoze shop." This suggests that you have no choice about where you work (which is difficult to believe unless you're utterly hopeless at your occupation) and that you consider it unfortunate that you're in this environment. My response was directed at those details, taken from your previous article. The point of this, and the reason I am returning to it, is that you could have simply said: "I happen to work in a Microsoft shop, so I need to be able to do XXX."
