I did so and > whats wrong now ? This is not the purpose of this variable. This variable is set to a higher version whenever you make important changes, but DO NOT RAISE the PORT_VERSION_. It is for users in order to find out if they have to update their installed version. If you raise the PORTVERSION, PORTREVISION is set to 0, i.e. removed from the Makefile.
