This makes things difficult.  How were you doing it with Windows?
What is marked on your keyboard?

I can't answer that question.

I'm sure there *is* documentation.  But I don't know where.  You could
try searching Yahoo! for 8859-9, for example.

I don't think you need to do that.  The big issue is letters and
symbols.  For the symbols, you need to check the shifted version, but
that's all.  In general, the ctrl and alt functions are the same in
all keymaps; for example, these lines may get different key numbers,
but that is probably all that will change:
