https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D250018 Bug ID: 250018 Summary: security/py-sequoia: Build failure due to incompatibility to python 2.7 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: phryk@wzff.de Created attachment 218441 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D218441&action= =3Dedit up needed python version for security/py-sequioa to 3.6+ The python bindings for sequoia are not compatible to python 2.7. and fail building (been getting mails from pkg-fallout). I couldn't get a proper statement from the devs as to what the minimum need= ed version for python3 is and currently don't have a poudriere to test building for different versions, much less actually testing if the built packages wo= uld work properly. Thus I just added 3.6+ as the required version to "uses=3Dpython" as 3.6 is definitely supported and the current default version and as such should cov= er most users. Patch is attached. --- Comment #1 from Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> --- Maintainer informed via mail --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
