Also, is it possible to install off of a Zip drive? Yes, there is "experimental-level" support for the parallel ZIP drive on FreeBSD. The SCSI version of the ZIP drive also works right out of the box. You won't be able to install from the parallel-port ZIP but it would be conceivable with the SCSI version if your BIOS supports booting from a SCSI device. Regards, Alex.
