I read up in the FreeBSD Handbook on how to install from the ports collection and am unable to do this. This is the output of what I have been trying. Now after is told me to put the port in that directory I tried to copy the tar ball to that directory and to no avail. I even put the tarball under the distfiles directory and it did not help. I tried to put it under the subdirectory x11 also... to no avail. I extracted the tarball into the tmp directory and tried to do a make install and came up with error... unfortunately I can't remember the output. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong... it's probably very stupid too.... Thanks in advance ________________________________________________________________________ Langa F.
