The problem I'm running into with the 3.4 kernel is that it keeps complaining: (sa0:ncr0:0:3:0): tape is now frozen- use an OFFLINE... So I go off and 'mt offline', reinsert the tape, do a 'flexbackup -newtape', only to repeat the cycle.
