Long time ago we make opposite decision to replace lots of duplicated 
getopt* code in each program with system single one. The discussion was 
somewhere near first getopt_long() commit.

Problem with POSIXLY_CORRECT NetBSD'sm was fixed in getopt_long.c v1.5
