The m4/* directory holds generated files (from autoreconf), so it really shouldn't be in the src repo. It's in the tar ball so folks don't need to have autoreconf installed. In truth, there are a couple of bug fix releases (0.4.6, 0.4.7, ...) that I'm using to proof out my import script. The new real release is 0.6, which I'll build and import as soon as I'm convinced I've got the plumbing done. Thanks, Phil
