According to Collins dictionary it's either a powder magazine(*) or a powder keg. Given the logo on the web pages poudriere creates, I think the latter meaning is the one intended. (*) For those whose first language isn't English, magazine in this case means a secure room used to store weapons or weapon related stuff. -- An amusing coincidence: log2(58) = 5.858 (to 0.0003% accuracy).
