Alex, I'm having the same problem you had below. Did you find a fix? I haven't tested it yet, but as a quick fix to get it to build, I created a soft link to /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.5 I installed gettext as suggested, but that didn't fix it. Any suggestions? In the latest ports, at least, libintl.so.4 comes from the gettext port, which is only a dependency of the postgresql ports if you are building nls support.
