Also, we a load average of three and more while 0% idle time, every machine must be slow. It also indicates that swapping is not the problem as swapping should not affect the CPU. As long as the load average is this high, the machine will feel slow. This is normal. You might find somebody who knows why Xorg does this strange thing. Erich
