Hello ! I may buy a DS10 Compaq Alpha server with a Mylex DAC960 (SN-KZPBC-AA) raid controller. Booting from these controllers is not supported due to SRM limitations. My server has two hard disks and I would like to have them mirrored (the root filesystems is supposed to be mirrored as well). There is a chance to make a bootable floppy kernel image for Linux (http://www.compaq.com/alphaserver/linux/readme.html). Is there a similar chance for FreeBSD ?
