If you have an NT 4+ Server with the right options pack, you can telnet
into the server. I've also used third party products that added a telnet
service. The MS version of telnet seemed to have fewer side effects than
the 3rd party stuff did. I have only used 3rd party telnet on 3.51 and
much has changed since then including adding the terminal server line.

I haven't paid any attention to Win 98 and wouldn't know if there is a
product that allows telneting.
