Nope. Here in Canada, DSL connections are handed off to us from a Redback as L2TP sessions to an endpoint. Unfortunately we were not able to get the l2tpd working well enough on FreeBSD (or LINIX for that matter). Not sure if it would work either as a concentrator as typically the encapsulation is bridged and (RFC1483?) and the FreeBSD version does not support that from what I recall. Also, the PPPoEd on FreeBSD does not seem to work with all PPPoE clients. Most of the Windows ones work, but some dont, and none of the MAC ones we tried worked at all. ---Mike >TIA, > >- Mike > > >To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org >with "unsubscribe freebsd-atm" in the body of the message ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mike Tancsa, tel +1 519 651 3400 Sentex Communications mike@sentex.net Cambridge, Ontario Canada www.sentex.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-atm" in the body of the message
