What am I missing? Sender: owner-freebsd-current@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk cc -DIN_GCC -O -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I./config \ -DTARGET_MACHINE=\"i386-unknown-freebsd\" \ -c `echo ./collect2.c | sed 's,^\./,,'` cpp: Usage: /usr/libexec/cpp [switches] input output gmake[1]: *** [collect2.o] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/lang/egcs/work/egcs-1.0.1/gcc' gmake: *** [all-gcc] Error 2 *** Error code 2 Stop. Now, I remember missing some configuration file. the only way to have it was to take the plain GNU 2.7.2.1, compile and install that, then use that as the first pass compiler to compile 2.8 or egcs (same problem). Any reminders please? ---------- Sincerely Yours, Simon Shapiro Shimon@Simon-Shapiro.ORG Voice: 503.799.2313
