I have an ABIT IS7E (ICH5) with two Maxtor 160GB SATA drives. It works for a week, but a HDD-intensive process can generate a DMA timeout which halts the whole system. Sadly my production server cannot boot with latest 5_2_RELENG kernel if hw.ata.ata_dma is zero. I have to use a GENERIC kernel from my older 5.2.1-RC2 install CD. -- jul http://js.hu/package/
