Should have started there anyway. This is the answer "To use your iPod with the Media Device browser you must have your iPod mounted at /mnt/ipod before starting amaroK." I was trying to mount it as any other device in my home directory. Once I mounted it that way it seems to work. Hopes this helps somebody else. v/r Derrick
