I noticed that *two* people claimed to use lscolor, me being one of
them, and a *lot* others said they never touched it. Doesn't that
give a clue to you? That, perhaps, lscolor is not a widely desired
feature in your community? Certainly not widely enough to warrant
bloating the system with something anyone can easily install
optionally?
