Actually this is pointless. The a.out, BSDI and Linux versions are all the same code base. I've used them all, and I cannot remember any single crash that seemed to be clearly related to OS specifics, just as Oliver reported. I currently run the BSDI version because it's clearly the most convenient (no Xfree86 a.out libs, no Linux emulation libs).
