I'm more multiplatform than freeBSD (open, net) so I'm a real newbie here,
but do you have any support for softmodems/winmodems? It would sure help me
if you do.

Another stupid newbie question, if I build a ix86-compatible box from
scratch, including building the motherboard, do I have to pay anyone for the
design? I know this isn't the pc place to ask, but someone here might know.
