-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- A friend of mine has a computer with a 3c900 card and my 2.2.7 floppy freezes when the vx driver detects the card. So, I want to build a custom boot disk that has an updated GENERIC kernel with the new xl driver. Getting a new NIC is not an option, so please no replies to that effect. I tried going to /usr/src/release/floppies/boot and running make but it dies while trying to link crunch claiming that ppp.lo references unknown functions. Any suggestions, tips, hints? I really don't want to have to build a whole release just to make a boot floppy. - --- John Baldwin - -- jobaldwi@vt.edu -- jbaldwin@freedomnet.com -- ---- http://www.freedomnet.com/~jbaldwin/ ---- "I waited for the Lord on high/I waited and He heard my cry." - Petra -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQB1AwUBNhK/lYjYza302vYpAQHQCAL/VJvTxhrDLaRDDacbmk7kLHooaXtlfbqR cGxuSZSNpH/xMw4mc+/eXQq/04yeRt/VngarjmQKJe/OCmM8sb+85vmfdZclrnkL zEuiLzenk0mnNhtOAMxZ0451ccOFRmw2 =hHMp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
