What happened was I, the other day I booted to DOS/Windows, something I hadn't done in a week or so. I found that the cd-rom was unusable there as well. So I figured it was a hardware problem. Then, I reinstalled FreeBSD AGAIN (Still learning) and by some miracle the cd-rom started working again (DOS & UNIX) and I haven't had problems since. I have absolutely no idea what happened, but I wanted to thank th ose who tried to help me. And if anyone has any ideas what happened I'd love to know. -Christopher Michaels Student Consultant:645-3542 *************************************************************************** * E-Mail: cjm2@acsu.buffalo.edu * * Homepage: http://www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~cjm2 * ***************************************************************************
